Frankie Osborne (played by Helen Pearson)
Frankie Osborne (née Wallace, formerly Dean): mother to the Dean clan, which includes Debbie, Jake, Steph and Craig. Frankie comes armed with an acid tongue and a whole load of strong opinions. Her current husband Jack is often called upon to play the level-headed mediator in her many crusades against injustice.
Between getting dumped by her ex-husband Johnno for a younger model, losing a baby to a miscarriage and, more recently, suffering the loss of her daughter Steph in the fire at Il Gnosh, Frankie has not had an easy ride. No wonder she can have a sharp tongue at times!
