Don’t let that fool you though – she’s every bit as precocious as her two siblings. Lacey comes armed with a whole store of jibes and insults, which can be dispensed, to devastating effect, at the drop of a bowler hat.
When Martha and their Dad split up, Lacey found herself in camp Daddy and sent to a fancy private school. When she showed up on the Kane's doorstep earlier this year she neglected to tell them that she'd been expelled from said fancy school. Tricksy...
Not that she let this massive truth omission stop her from making her presence truly felt. Nose put out of joint when she found George living with her folks, after a few days of sniping the two finally bonded. The same can't be said for her and fellow teenage tearaway Phoebe - from the moment they first met they've fought like cat and dog, which is awkward since they were roomies for a while!
Lacey had a terrible fright when big sis Ash got meningitis. Lacey blamed herself and had to be consoled by George. Unaware that Martha was struggling to cope with the pressure, Lacey was even going to fess up about being expelled until Callum stopped her.
She eventually told the truth and found herself in the Kane's bad books - which wasn't helped when she lied about Joel trying to kiss her, causing a fight between him and Callum and ultimately the break up of Caddie! Lacey was forgiven, though. Who could stay mad at her for long?!
Life is never easy in the Kane household though. When Martha lost her job she turned to drink, making life unbearable for Lacey, who then unknowingly pressured Callum into giving up a dream summer in America. Worse yet, as Martha's drinking worsened she treated Lacey increasingly badly. Lacey even tried to run away but Martha didn't even notice!
Miss Kane is no angel herself though. We recently discovered that she stole the Savage's house money and went on a spending spree with Phoebe! Martha then caught Lacey with the stash...what will the Kane ladies do with these ill gotten gains?
