Hollyoaks - Liberty Savage (played by Abi Phillips)

Poor naive Liberty! Soon after coming to the village in December 2010, the aspiring singer and baby sister of Dodger and Will formed a special bond with local girl Theresa. Unbeknownst to her, so did her fiancé, want-away copper Ethan! Liberty was furious when she found out they had spent the night in a hotel together. Just not so furious that she wouldn't take him back.

That wasn't the end of Ethan's foul play though. Not on your nelly! Before she knew it, Liberty had become one part of an illicit quadrangle of love, which also included Rae and Theresa, as Ethan juggled all three girls. There was hell to pay (and gunge to be thrown) when Ethan's angels found out what he'd been up to!

Ethan later tried to convince Liberty to run away with him (before he got banged up that is), but our Miss Savage was happy to be young, carefree and single - though briefly we were worried she was going to be Silas'd (these fears proved unfounded. Phew!).

Nowadays, when she isn't out with bezzies Theresa and Michaela, she is often found entertaining us all by singing in the SU Bar - being a bonafide popstar n'all (see below). She also recently contributed to a major Awkward Turtle moment when she was caught doing the Walk of Shame after a night of pash with Rob - one of Will's mates. Oops.

Poor Liberty recently found herself homeless when she was turfed out of the McQueen's after Myra was banged up. She tried to help Will raise enough money to buy the family a new home - she even sang infront of a baying crowd at at the Savage Party!

When their house fund stolen, Liberty was forced to leave Hollyoaks with the rest of the Savages - boo! - but soon they were back - yay! Soon Lib was helping her folks again, this time in their battle with Jack to keep their boat moored outside The Dog. A girl of many talents, Liberty pretended Jack had knocked her over with his car. Those naughty Savages!

Abi landed the role of Liberty when her song 'Missing You' that she wrote, produced and performed for Hollyoaks, caught the attention of Hollyoaks' Producers. The song was used during Steph's heartbreaking death scene in the big Hollyoaks fire in November 2010. This year we saw her perform her single 'Summer Sunshine' at T4 On The Beach as Liberty...but also as Abi (confused.com?)
