HCC student Lydia arrived on the scene as she became friends with Josh Ashworth over their mutual love of music. Amy Barnes couldn't help but feel jealous of the quirky indie-lover as she grew close to Josh - until she realised Lydia was far more interested in girls than boys! Amy's older sister Sarah Barnes ended up dating Lydia, but Sarah soon broke up with her because she felt Lydia was becoming too clingy. The couple made a tentative reconciliation, however it came to a tragic end when Lydia's jealousy led her to commit a crime she soon regretted!

The role of Lydia is Lydia Kelly's first job in television.
