Mercedes is annoyed that Malachy spurned her advances last night. Insisting time apart will be good for them a suspicious Mercedes is only satisfied when he promises to make it up to her tonight. Arriving at the Loft, Mercedes throws Malachy when she shows up unannounced and Sasha's amused to see how much she's getting to him. Hiding away in the office gives him no peace, especially when Mercedes tracks him down. When Sasha interrupts the moment, Malachy's grateful, however, Mercedes is left feeling frustrated. Discovering Lauren wandering round the club, Calvin falls into big brother mode and tells her to go home, however, his attention is diverted by India's arrival. Quick to introduce himself, he's left gutted when India heads over to join Dave instead of having a drink with him. Malachy finally snaps and tells Mercedes he's feeling suffocated by her attentions and needs space, working and living together is too much. Confiding her fears to Calvin, Mercedes' attention is soon focused on him and what appears to be a friendly chat leads into something more...
Cindy feels like time is passing her by and is thrilled when an under pressure Tony suggest they have a night out together. Realising he's looking after Tom and helping him with his WW1 homework, Tony has to back track and let Cindy down gently. Furious that she's stuck in work, Cindy takes her frustrations out on Dom while struggling to explain to Tom why poppies are worn for Remembrance Day. When Cindy and Dom's spat comes to a head, Tony steps in and diffuses the situation, before settling down to help Tom with his homework. As his thoughts turn to his great-grandfather, Tony decides to do something to commemorate the sacrifices made during the war and declares he's holding a theme day...
The students are surprised when Rhys comes out of Hayley's bedroom and are quick to realise that they've spent the night together. Under interrogation from Dave and India, Hayley is quick to pass off her night with Rhys as a one off; however, Rhys can't praise her enough to Josh and informs him they're bang into each other. Confronting Hayley about her relationship with Rhys, Josh finds himself on the receiving end of a harsh put down. Hayley tells Josh exactly what she thinks of his attempts to put her off Rhys, which in turn pushes her closer to his elder brother...
Anita's loneliness shows no sign of abating when Lauren tells her exactly what she thinks of her friendship making ploy. Lauren's concerned when she hears someone crying in the school toilets and unable to get a response, leaves, unaware that it's Anita. After school, Anita's paranoia grows when she sees Lauren and Gaz together. Fearing they're planning against her, Anita seeks out Hannah and lies and tells her she's not been eating.
