Although not every video entry will appear on the Desperately Seeking website, all auditions will be viewed by the Hollyoaks panel even if they fail to meet the moderator requirements (for example if you have used commercial music or featured a branded product).
'Desperately Seeking' has moved on from the days of 'On The Pull' but the aim is still the same – to find a new star! Hollyoaks' Producer Lucy Allan said: "We are very excited about opening the audition process to a wider audience and hope to find that special, raw talent that we found in Roxanne and Marcus on the On The Pull series."
Roxanne McKee won 2004's On the Pull after being selected from over 35,000 online applications. Roxanne went on to play Louise Summers for four years becoming one of Hollyoaks' most loved characters and being involved in some of Hollyoaks' most monumental storylines. Louise Summers was a feisty and ruthless character; she fell for the village bad boy Warren Fox, did a spell in prison for a murder she didn't commit, almost died in the Evissa fire, and was finally murdered by her husband-to-be Warren.
Roxanne left Hollyoaks in December 2008 after four hugely successful years during which she scooped two awards at The British Soap Awards for Sexiest Female.
Marcus Patrick played Ben Davies after winning 'On The Pull' in 2000 and went on to become one of Hollyoaks' all time favourite heart throbs. Ben Davies arrived in Hollyoaks with his dad and sister and they were soon established as one of Hollyoaks' most loved families.
Marcus was in the show for five years and later went on to star in Hollyoaks: In the City and ITV's Echo Beach.
