Although not every video entry will appear on the Desperately Seeking website, all auditions will be viewed by the Hollyoaks panel even if they fail to meet the moderator requirements (for example if you have used commercial music or featured a branded product).

Well, the judges have had a tough time going though the 1679 entries and whittling them down to the first shortlist.
However, its been done and the best 25 auditions have been selected!

The Shortlist
We caught up with judges and Producers, Caroline Roby and Henry Swindell to get their views on the Desperately Seeking competition.
Caroline: "This has been a really tough decision for me and the other judges. We've spent a long time going through all the entries and narrowing our selection down to just 25. It's been an interesting experience and we've received loads of auditions varying in talent. Unfortunately, we can't offer everyone a place in the shortlist and to those who didn't make it, I want to say 'thank you for entering, but don't give up, one day 'you' might be the new star of Hollyoaks!".
Henry: "The 25 on the short-list should be extremely proud to have been pick out of the nearly 1700 entries, all of which I watched. I'm really looking forward to meeting them all next week and seeing what they can do and how they work with the other students."
