The Lucky Winner
BETH KINGSTON strutted her stuff and wowed the judges with her impressive performance as India. The 22 year old travelled from her hometown in Bournemouth to the audition and has wanted to be an actress since she was a child.
We caught up with Hollyoaks Series Producer, Lucy Allan, to ask her why she decided on Beth. She had this to say about the winner, "Beth has the integrity and naivety we were looking for in the character and we're confident she'll be an asset to the show"

We had a quick chat with Beth to find out more about what she expects from her new role in the award winning teen soap, Hollyoaks...
Q: What did you think about being in the final three?
Beth: I didn’t think I’d get it, especially when I saw the two I was up against. I didn’t think I’d make it to the last 25 let alone the last three!
Q: How did you feel when you turned up at the T4 studio?
Beth: Really excited, really buzzing. I was soon put at ease, once the researcher went through all the questions and what I’d be doing.
Q: Have you been in touch with the other girls?
Beth: We’ve been in touch all week – texting to see what each other would be wearing so we didn’t clash!
Q: How did you feel when the when winner was announced?
Beth: Absolutely gobsmacked – it truly is a dream come true! I’m over the moon, I can’t picture myself in Hollyoaks – I keep pinching myself!
Q: Were you shocked to discover you were at work on Monday?
Beth: I was a bit taken back because I didn’t realise how far in advance they filmed. I’d rather be thrown into the deep end and get cracking!
Q: Were your family supportive?
Beth: My family have been really encouraging, so when they hear I’ve got the part, they’ll be elated.
QUICK FACT: Beth supports Liverpool FC and has a hamster called 'Gerry' after her favourite player, Steven Gerrard!
