He's the biggest selling male singles artist of 2009, a fashion designer, and he raises money for charity and... he's only 22. It makes you feel sick doesn’t it?
Tinchy Stryder, who got his name from a) the fact that he used to be small and b) the fact that he really liked the 80s arcade hit Strider, emerged from the grime scene that produced the likes of Wiley and Roll Deep. Tinchy's now outselling both those artists and, with the aptly named 'Number One' and 'Never Leave You' reaching the chart summit, it seems Tinchy's got the potential to become bigger than another graduate of the grime scene, Dizzee Rascal.
In fact, the Stryderman's prominence in the charts is so vast that he’s managed to get in the top 20 with his latest single, 'You're Not Alone', before it's even been officially released. He's also featuring on the top ten smash by The Young Soul Rebels, otherwise known as the "urban soul supergroup", charity single for War Child. Which begs the question, where does his success end?
There's a particularly arty shot of the Tinch-mesiter in the Episode Three Gallery that'll take your breath your way!
George Michael once sang, "I've got to have faith" and, well, The Hollyoaks Music Show with Matalan.co.uk heeded Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou's words and also got faith. Paloma Faith that is!
Paloma "Yes, that is her real name" Faith is a quirky sort to say the least. Write her off as an Amy Winehouse wannabe at your peril for our Faith has got a lot more about her than that. The ex-magician's assistant, trained contemporary dancer, St Martin's alumni with an MA in theatre direction, performer in burlesque shows, and actress, has brought all these arty elements into her pop career to make her one of the most interesting music figures around today.
These eccentricities are far from redundant though because they've already helped to get two of her singles ('Stone Cold Sober' and 'New York') into the top 20. With an appearance in Heath Ledger's last film, The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnasuss, currently hitting the silver screen, Paloma's star is only going to get bigger.
Paloma looks like some sort of new for 2009 Addams Family matriarch in our Episode Three Gallery!
Here on The Hollyoaks Music Show with Matalan.co.uk there's nothing more we like than a good old fact. I'd go as far as to say we're fact fans. One such fact that we’re currently very impressed with is thus: Paolo Nutini's second album, 'Sunny Side Up', is the third biggest selling album of the year. The only artists who have sold more albums than him this year are Kings of Leon and Michael Jackson.
Other Paolo facts:
Fact 1) He got his big break by filling in for one time reality TV singer David Sneddon.
Fact 2) His family own a chip shop.
Fact 3) His debut album, 'These Streets' sold over a million.
Fact 4) Paolo has been linked to bigger names than David Sneddon (see fact 1, fact fans) when he played with The Rolling Stones at The Isle of Wight festival in 2007 and then supported Led Zeppelin at the 02 Arena.
These facts, even fact number two, have all helped Paolo to become a very popular Scotsman indeed!

There's an old, old proverb that goes, "First's the worst, second's the best, third's the one with the hairy chest," but will the third unsigned act on The Hollyoaks Music Show with Matalan.co.uk have a hairy chest? We can categorically state no, Mo does not have a hairy chest, but will Mo Molokwu be any good? Mentor Claire Copper (Jacqui) will be hoping so. Read about Mo Here!
