Basshunter
You can call him Mr Bass, you can call him Mr Hunter (though that does sound like a geography teacher), you can even call him his real name, Jonas. You can call him mad, you can call him a genius... To be honest, we don’t what Basshunter is, but, whatever, the Swede certainly knows how to knock out a good dance tune and then some!
Having gained well over 65 million hits (that’s SIXTY FIVE MILLION HITS!) for his number one selling single, 'Now You're Gone', Basshunter's done pretty well for himself. If you've ever seen any number of his quite awesome music videos containing scantily clad women then you'll know he likes to the let the good times roll. Talking of his videos, Basshunter's got quite a story that unfolds from one to the next. He's like some sort of Euro dance Steven Spielberg!
Anyways, The Hunter's back with new single 'I Promise Myself' and with the new song comes a new video. Honestly, the cliffhanger's like something out of Lost!
Chipmunk
Chipmunk is the best hip-hop act in the world. That's not speculation, that's just 2009 MOBO awards fact. At 18 years old Chipmunk is already deemed better than established acts such as Kanye West, Eminem and Dizzee Rascal.
Like that there Dizzee Rascal, Chipmunk worked his way up through the London grime scene. When he was just 14 years old, Chipmunk's local youth club encouraged him to MC - our youth club simply encouraged us to eat Chewitts and drink Panda shandy!
Chipmunk then went on to join Shoddy Crew and then, latterly, Circular Movements. Underground radio stations gave Mr Munk's talents more exposure then ever before and it wasn't long before Chipmunk went solo. With his third single, 'Diamond Rings', Chipmunk cracked the top ten.

Taio Cruz
Handy tips on how to pronounce the name of number one selling artist Taio Cruz: Combine the words "tie" (as in the garment of clothing that a gent such as Taio Cruz may deploy around the collar of a shirt), "oh" (as in, "Oh yeah, I love Taio Cruz. He writes lovely MOBO nominated R&B pop!") and "cruise" (as in, "My nan's gone on a cruise ship with Taio Cruz"). And that is how you pronounce Taio Cruz. Since 2006, Taio's had six top 30 hits, including the chart-topping 'Break Your Heart'. His talents have been noted, most notably by the noteworthy Simon Cowell. The flat-haired music honcho has hired Cruz to write for Alexandra Burke, Leona Lewis and Shayne Ward ("whoooooo!?").
Finding time between drafting up pop masterpieces for any old Tom, Dick and Shayne, Taio also has also founded his own fashion brand, Rokstarr. 'Rokstarr' also happens to be the name of his latest album. Now that's what I call cross-promotion!
