You share the same name as my Nan...
Yeah, I've heard that Agnes is an old name in Britain. In Sweden it's a young person's name.
I see! But are you a good cook like my Nan Agnes?
I'm probably not! But I love to cook.
So you couldn't make me a roast dinner?
If I practiced for like a week then I could!
You were discovered on Swedish X-Factor like show 'Idol'. Have you ever heard of the following X-Factor winners:
Steve Brookstein?
No.
Shayne Ward?
No.
Leon Jackson?
No.
Well there we go. You're more successful than all these people, which is absolute, and in no way flawed, conclusive proof that Swedish Idol is better than X-Factor.
Is there a Swedish equivalent to Simon Cowell?
Yeah. They've changed the jury since I was on the programme, but they always have to have a bad guy.
Did you get picked on?
No, they were always really kind to me.
Your route to winning Swedish Pop Idol was a complex one. Didn't the public vote you out before the judges saved you?
Yeah, at the beginning of the programme I was shy and didn't talk that much and people didn't know the real me.
You don't seem that shy now?
No, I'm not!
You nearly became the Swedish entrant for Eurovision this year. How did that come about?
In Sweden Eurovision is huge. Everyone watches it. So I tried to become the Swedish representative for fun really and I also knew that after the final I was going to start working outside of Sweden, so for me it was like a goodbye to my homeland.
Basshunter's also from Sweden. Do you know him?
I know of him. I've met him once.
He likes the ladies, our Basshunter. Did he try it on with you?
I'm not going to answer that!
Not interested?
No, he's not my type, but he's a really cute guy.
What is your type, Agnes?
I like guys who are comfortable in themselves and who can make me laugh. Someone I can have a good time with...
... You can have a good time with me, Agnes...
Ahem... Have you ever watched Hollyoaks?
I know what it is, but I haven't seen it.
Is there a Swedish equivalent to Hollyoaks?
I don't think we do. Maybe we should write one!
Please! And finally, your debut UK album is called Dance Love Pop, but which is your favourite – dance, love or pop?
Love! Everything is about love - your family, your friends, everyone. With love you can be really happy.
Are you really happy, Agnes?
Yeah!
Awww!
