Is it true you ladies got your name from a rejected Saturdays album track?
Daizy: Yes, it's true. We loved it and The Saturdays were fine with it, so yeah, why not? Girl band love!
We all know Girls Can't Catch, but what skills have girls got?
Phoebe: We can actually sing, believe it or not!
Jess: To be fair though, in our early interviews we had loads of things thrown at us and we found out that we could actually catch quite well.
Daizy: I can tarot read! Actually, I went to a tarot reader and he said that next year he sees really, really good things going on in America next year in June.
The video to 'Keep Your Head Up' shows you girls playing croquet on a rubbish dump. Can you explain the concept of this please?
Phoebe: We had loads of ideas given to us, but we liked this one because it was different. We had a croquet coach on the day because we'd never played croquet before and he was really helpful. We had a great day and we think it's a good video. The next video's going to be more glam and everyone's going to see a different side to us, which I can't wait for.
Who's the best croquet player in the group?
Phoebe: We're all pretty crap!
Daizy: We gave it our best shot!
Of course, this is not your first visit to the Holllyoaks set. Can you explain to the readers out there why you've been here before?
Phoebe: We were being filmed performing at the 2009 Graduation Ball. It was really good!
Jess: We got to meet a few of the cast and spend a day on the set. It was a crazy thing watching it on telly and then seeing it all for real.
That must have been one of your first TV appearances?
Phoebe: Yeah, I remember watching it the day it came on.
Daizy: It was insane because we were on the Girls Aloud tour and then we were no Hollyoaks – the popstar lifestyle! It's great to be back here, it's made us reminisce about where we've been over the last year.
You're currently recording your debut album. Can we expect any death metal?
Daizy: Maybe as a bonus track! Who knows?
Phoebe: We're not really into death metal...
Shame...
Phoebe: It's a cool album. It's pop with R&B elements and it has some emotional tracks. Pixie Lott wrote one of our songs, so that's really good. It's a cool album and we can't wait to release it.
You're supporting Jonas Brothers. There are three of them and there are three of you. Have you bagsied which Jonas bro you'll be getting your dirty hands on?
Daizy: We don't really fancy any of them do we?
Phoebe: No, but they're great as a band. They've got such a huge following, so it's amazing to have the chance to go on tour with them.
What if their fans get jealous of you girls getting close to the Jonasses?
Phoebe: Don't say that! Hopefully the tour will gain us more of their fans – a different kind of fan.
Daizy: I think it'll be fun. We'll enjoy ourselves!
Naturally, being a lazy journalist type, I've looked at your Wikipedia page. What's this about Daizy and Eurovision?
Daizy: Yes! I've done it all me. My journey's been a long one already! For this year's Eurovision I was put into a girl band and we were going to go on the actual live show, but Andrew Lloyd Webber changed his mind at the last minute and said no girl band. Then, almost immediately after that, I got picked up for Girls Can't Catch. Everything happens for a reason!
Phoebe: It's funny, I got offered it as well, but I said no! It's a good opportunity though, it really is.
