Master Shortie, at what age do you expect to become Mr Shortie?

I don't know, man! Maybe 30?

Tinchy Stryder's called Tinchy because he's small. Are you called Master Shortie because you're not too tall... Actually, you're fairly tall...

Yeah, I'm five foot ten. I used to be quite small, but then I had a growth spurt and that's when I put Master in front of the Shortie.

Like other Hollyoaks Music Show act Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, you have a moustache. Is the moustache making a comeback?

Definitely, man! I'm bringing back the moustache!

Is it true you call you fans pigeonheadz?

No, that's the name of my street team. They're called that because they're fly and they're from the city and also it's the name of my trainer brand.

When will your trainers be available for the general public?

They're available now online on the Schuh website. Also, I'm going to be doing in-stores up and down the country and signing my album, which comes free with the trainer. They're £50.

You went to the infamous Brit School, but you left. How come?

I did a two year stint, so I spent quite a long-time there. I was there from 16-18.

So you act?

Yeah, man. I love acting. Acting's easy! Hopefully, I'll do that later in my career when my profile's higher and it's easy to get roles.

Would you go into Hollyoaks?

Who knows? I'm not very good at TV work. TV work's very subtle and it's very natural, so maybe that's be a bit challenging for me.

Do you watch Hollyoaks at all?

I used to watch Hollyoaks quite a bit, but I'm busy now, so I don't have time to watch it. It's a crazy show though!

Have you got a favourite Hollyoaks lady perhaps? You've met a few today...

Yeah, there are some cute girls in Hollyoaks. My friend's in it – Natalie Emmanuel (Sasha Valentine) – but she's taken.

Your album's called ADHD. Have you got ADHD?

Yeah, man! Can't you see my eyes? I've got a short attention span, so my eyes are all over the place. I can't keep still!

And finally, Vanessa from The Saturdays features on your track 'Swagger Chick'. Chipmunk has also said that he'd like to work with The Saturdays. Do you think the next Saturdays album could be a full on rap album!?

Now Chipmunk's gone huge, I'm sure The Saturdays would now love to work with him in the future. With my stuff, I've known Vanessa now for a while, so our collaboration came via friendship.
