Biography:

There are not many bands that can say their first gig was on the set of Hollyoaks (unless you happen to be part of fictional Hollyoaks group, The Dirty Diegos), but Houka Monks are such a band!

Essex duo, Joe and Nick, have been making music together for two years now and, although having made the top ten MySpace funk chart, the pair have never played live together.

Do you think their first gig together warrants a place in an episode of Hollyoaks? Their mentor, Nathalie Emmanuel (who plays Sasha Valentine) thinks so.
