We caught up with Loui Batley on her last ever filming day on the Hollyoaks set. As Sarah’s friends and family prepare to say a final farewell at her funeral on Friday, take a look at our last interview with the lovely Loui.
It’s your last day. How do you feel?
It’s a really weird feeling, just because of four years of my life coming in every day and stuff, so it’s quite weird and strange. On the one hand it’s sad. I’ll miss all the people and stuff and miss seeing them every day and things like that, but on the other hand it’s quite nice because I feel quite free as well.
Do you have any plans?
Yeah, the first plan is a holiday and then we’ll see what happens after that, I’ve got some bits and pieces.
Is it true that you’re going to open a pub with your boyfriend.
I’ve done that already, but that’s just on the side.
So you’re going to still be acting?
Oh yeah. Definitely. We just manage the pub and are there occasionally, but I’ll just carry on acting hopefully.
Would you stay in soaps or would you like to do films?
I’d love to do films and dramas and stuff, but just to keep on acting really is the main thing.
