Bubbly student Zoe resided at the Barnes' house and found herself falling for her friend Sarah's dad Mike. Their relationship ended in tears though, after Zoe slept with Sarah following a drunken night out. Sarah and Zoe put their drunken night out of their minds and have remained friends. Zoe went on to fail her degree after using Mike's work and passing it off as her own.

Sarah invites Zoe away on an action weekend with her, Fernando, Steph and Gilly. Zoe's really looking forward to a fun trip away after all the troubles she's had recently, and is completely oblivious that Sarah's girlfriend Lydia is jealous and plans on turning up to keep an eye on them.
