Sasha 's feeling a bit rough and Pippa 's hanging around. Not a good combo! Pippa lets slip that Dave told her Sasha was a heroin addict, which doesn't particularly sit well with Sasha. In fact, Sasha's fuming! So she makes sure she gets her revenge on Dave, before following in the footsteps of Gilly and Josh back to Hollyoaks...
Waking up in Dave 's flat's one thing, but waking up in a police cell is another entirely. It's safe to say, Sasha 's not having a great time of it and being handed a year's driving ban and a drink awareness class compounds that. Dave doesn't help matters when he takes Sash to a house party where she's then confronted by a moody Pippa . Sasha's furious, and forces Dave to choose between her and Pippa, refusing to spend any more time with the girl who got her put in prison. But Dave, being the smooth talker he is, still manages to hold Sasha's affections.
Sasha immediately regrets sleeping with Josh , so she keeps her distance. Someone not keeping his distance from Josh is Rhys, who pays his brother an unexpected visit. Things don’t get much better for the wild man of Manchester when Ruby blames Josh for Gilly 's accident. It all takes its toll, so Josh decides to pack up and leave the big city and head back to Hollyoaks village. But will Sasha join him?
After his doorman assault, finding a bar in Manchester that will let Josh in proves problematic, so in the end Josh and Sasha settle for a pint in a skanky dive. Still, the bar's got karaoke on the go, so it's not all bad... until Gabby and Sasha have a scrap over whose turn it is to impersonate Amy Winehouse. Dejected and drunk, Sasha and Josh return to Dave's flat and end up sleeping together!
With a gap in his mouth wider than the River Dee, Gilly heads back to Hollyoaks village. Unperturbed, Josh continues his wild antics by winding up the local bouncer and accusing Gabby of giving him an STI. And he finds himself barred from all of the clubs in the entire city of Manchester...
Josh 's one night stand with Gabby comes back to haunt him when he discovers he's got crabs. Pubic lice ridden and drunk, Josh's charisma isn't exactly flowing, which brings Gilly and Ruby even closer. Still, it doesn't all go Gilly's way, as he's punched by Josh, man-handled by a bouncer, then falls down steps and loses his front teeth! Just another night out for The Caner Crew then.
Josh arrives on the scene just in time to scare the creepy bloke away from Sasha . Two days later and Sasha is still upset with the crew for abandoning her in her hour of need, so, to make up for this, they plan a "quiet night in". The gang's idea of a "quiet night in" is not exactly a cosy evening in with a book. Drinking games ensue, while Dave and Sasha's flirting culminates in a 'spin the bottle' kiss.
Physically and mentally bruised, Josh meets the grief stricken Sasha . Reticent to join in with The Caner Crew's boozing activity, Sasha is dragged along to a bar only to be left alone by Josh and co, feeling self-conscious and intimidated by the rowdy lads around her. Thinking enough is enough; Sasha leaves the bar, but is followed by a shady character.
Waking up with hangovers from hell, Josh and Dave get straight back on the booze - hair of the dog and all that! Suddenly realising he's got a date, Josh meets Ruby at a friend's band rehearsal and as the conversation flows, the pair share a kiss. Ruining the moment completely, Josh leaves Ruby to go clubbing with his mate Dave. He also leaves Ruby to pay the bar tab. What a gent!
Josh arrives in Manchester donning uber-trendy threads and ready to party. His first port of call is a bar where he meets his latest mate, the smooth operator that is Dave Colburn . Josh is introduced to the highly unstable Gabby and then to the seemingly sweet, yet drunk Daddy's girl, Pippa . This is "The Caner Crew!"
Gradually getting more and more drunk, Josh starts talking to guitar-playing bar candy Ruby , and they get on like the proverbial house on fire. In fact, the two get on so well that Josh manages to bag himself a date. Josh also manages to get a snog and then some, but unfortunately for him, it's not with Ruby - it's with Gabby.
