Tell us a little bit about how Mercedes will feature in the Late Nights and what she gets up to?
Mercedes travels over to Ireland to catch up with Malachy, joining Zak and Elliot on their trip, and she gets up to all sorts of adventures.
What was it like working with Kent Riley (Zak) and Garnon Davies (Elliot)?
It was fun, I've never really worked with them before because I'm usually with my family or Russ, Warren etc. It made a nice change but it was hard to play moody Mercedes because Kent and Garnon just kept making me laugh all the time! They were really funny.
Why does Mercedes decide she needs to go after Malachy after everything that's happened between them?
Mercedes has sex with a stranger in The Dog toilets, and sex usually makes her forget about everything else that's going on. But afterwards she still can't stop thinking about Malachy, so she decides to go and see him to work out how she feels.
Were you nervous about having to film the naughty sex scene in The Dog toilets?
Well I wasn't told about that scene when I first heard about Hollyoaks Later, but it's the sort of thing you just have to get on and do. If I'd been awkward or nervous it would have been awkward for everyone involved, and I think it would have come across on screen too.
Did you get on well with the guy you were acting this out with?
I only met him for that day of filming so we didn't exactly get to know each other, but I think it worked better that way really. It made it easier for me - doing something like that with somebody you know would be much harder.
Did you enjoy filming on location for these episodes?
Not really. At the wedding I had to wear a tiny little dress, it was so short it was quite uncomfortable!
It's been revealed that Mercedes and Malachy will get married. Do you think Mercedes is a bit crazy to get married after her last marriage?
Yeah she's completely mad! But that's part of her personality; Mercedes just does whatever she feels like doing at the time. She doesn't exactly think things through. But I think that's what is attractive about her personality.
