Playing with our Misfits scenes
Each week, explore a new exclusive scene from the next episode of Misfits. Collect items such as bonus audio excerpts from the next episode, web exclusive videos, free music downloads from Nokia Music and a secret game. Collect all items and complete the game to watch a special clip from the next episode that you will only see here, then brag about it to your mates via Facebook connect.
Here's how to do it:
Click the 'play' button on the picture at the top of the homepage.
Instructions will pop up telling you what you need to collect. Read the instructions and press the 'Play' button to begin.
Head back to home and play now
Use either the arrows in the top left corner of the game to move explore the scene, or your mouse/trackpad. Left-Click and drag your mouse to see more the scene. You can only grab and drag, scrolling will not move your view.
Not all the items will be visible straight away, some you will need to zoom in to see. You can zoom in and out by using either the plus and minus icons on the left hand side of the game, or by double clicking your mouse/trackpad on the area you want to zoom in on.
Can you believe your luck? You have every horny teenage boy's dream super power - X-Ray vision! You can turn on/off your X-Ray vision super power by clicking the X-Ray icon on the bottom left corner of the game. Use it to see behind the scenes and find more hidden items.

As you find items (hint: look for the faint, orange outlines) click on them to add them to your stash. Some items have special powers and will unlock further items or have secret bonus stuff.
Once you're done with an item, you can close it by clicking the red X in the top right hand corner of the item pop-up box.
Keep track of your items by checking your stash. How many items you've got left to find are tallied in the bottom left hand corner of the game.
Collect all the items to unlock the bonus game. Score enough points on the game to watch the special preview clip. If you don’t manage it first time, keep playing until you do (and read the tips below). You can watch all of the content you’ve collected again by completing the game and clicking on the episode tab for the episode you've explored.
Why can't I find all the items?
Did you use your X-Ray super power? You can turn this on/off by clicking the X-Ray icon on the bottom left corner of the game. Use it to see behind the scenes and find more hidden items. We know you will only use your super power for good and not for looking at people in their undies. Mostly.
I still can't find them all
There are also items hidden in the background of the scene, make sure you have dragged your view to the top, bottom, left and right of the scene to see all the out of shot areas. Some items will only appear after you’ve clicked on two or more special 'combo' items.
When you find a special item, it will give you a clue to as to what you need to collect next to unlock the last item in the combo.
Bonus game
- Each week you'll be testing out a new super power - and in true super power tradition - things can go one of the three ways; good, great, or really bad.
- Good things will give you standard points, great things will give you double points and really bad things will lose you points. You're smart. You can probably work out what the bad things are.
- Each week's bonus game will have different objectives, but the strategy will be the same
- Click on as many of the objects that will give you points as you can and avoid clicking on those that will reduce your points.
- You only have 20 seconds to reach the target score. If you manage it, you will unlock that week's extra preview clip and be able to Facebook your friends that you're a proper Misfit.
Facebook connect
Don't worry, if you are that one person not on Facebook, you can still play the Misfits game. If you use Facebook, you can choose to sign in to Facebook Connect by pressing the button in the top right corner of the game at any time.
Using Facebook Connect will keep track of your progress and allow you to post your game scores to your Facebook wall. Saving your progress means that you won't have to collect all the items again when you return to the scene, you can jump straight to your stash or the bonus games. Clicking on Facebook Connect links you straight up to your Facebook. The ‘Log Out’ you see on the Facebook Connect button is the Log out for all of Facebook. Clicking it will log you out of ordinary Facebook at the same time as removing Facebook from the Misfits game. I f you do not want to be logged in to Facebook on the computer you are using after you’re done playing the game, you can either; • hit the ‘Log out’ button in the top right hand corner of the game; • go to www.facebook.com and log out from there; or • close your browser (internet window)
Wait, did someone say free music downloads?
Yes! We most certainly did. If you’re using a Windows PC and Internet Explorer, free downloads will be available from the Nokia Music Store as well as other cool Nokia Music offers.
How do I get to the downloads?
First you have to find them. Each week, a different item in the scene will have the free downloads hidden inside it. When you find the correct one, follow the link to the Nokia Music Store. Nokia Music Store will let you download a specialised player onto your computer that you use to get the free tunes.
What if I use a Mac? Can I still get the downloads?
Sorry; Nokia Music store only works from a Windows PC. You can trick it into think you have a PC by running a virtual Windows PC installed on your Mac. However, it'd probably be easier just to use a mate's PC instead.
I have a Windows PC, but it's still not working.
The Nokia Music Store is only compatible with PCs running Internet Explorer. Check to see if your browser (internet window silly) is Internet Explorer or something else. If it's Firefox, Opera or Chrome - it's not going to work.
