As Lucas and his fiancée enjoy planning their dream wedding, the residents of One Tree Hill try to come to terms with the rather startling news of this shock marriage. Brooke and Peyton reconnect, and Brooke, reeling from a threat to her store, reaches out to an unexpected ally in the form of Deb. Brooke doesn't want to go to the police over the robbery, but wants Deb to teach her some gun skills.
Nathan works with Quentin on his basketball skills, but Haley fears for Nathan's well-being. Jamie catches Skills and Deb kissing, though Deb tries to pretend that he was just helping her get something out of her eye. Former nanny Carrie is back in Tree Hill, with a plan to snatch Jamie once more and pin the crime on the recuperating Dan. But Dan points out just where the plan will fail. And as the episode ends, there's another shooting victim in the town of Tree Hill.
