We challenged YOU to beat Jeremy's Megatron. And you did us proud. The overall winner walked away with a Peep Show box set. The rest received DVDs of the fifth series. Let's take a look at how you did...
The Mighty Mobile Megatron 6000 - Mark_Corrigan
The judges were particularly impressed by the composition of this picture. Not only does it feature a cat (automatic 10 extra internet points), but also look at the interesting leaf design on the duvet set, and what is that peeping into the right of shot, dude - is that a rizla?
The Bandatron - Closet Goth 85
It's an impressive one-man band! Extra points were awarded for the mixed-media, employing at least two different types of adhesive tape (there were heated rows about whether or not there was a third peeping from behind the piccolo). And, a final honorary notice for the Forbidden Planet bag covering the piano stool. Choice.
The REAL Megatron - Ethanboi
This was an early favourite, with a striking composition reminiscent of The Magnificent Seven film poster, and adhesive wrapping that manages to skilfully merge the tricky transition between sellotape and red plumber's tape.
Ultimate Megatron - beagleS
Daringly contrasting a robotic exoskeleton with a jaunty nautical theme, the judges were enchanted.
Fem-a-tron - SinfulRedeemer
A refreshing twist on the "exploded handbag" concept, this was an amusing exploration of just what it takes for a girl to get going, with a sinister twist supplied by the vast amount of electrical cabling in the background.
really handy lol - milkyman08
What struck the judges was that this was a daring real world Megatron - one that actually felt used. Heated debate ensued over the object in the bottom left. Was it really a paper party hat? Or some kind of cradle? If so, does this mean that this Megatron has an embedded organic component? The judges were impressed by the very idea.
