Trudy is thought to have attempted suicide when she falls asleep in her own garage with her car engine running. She is put on 72 hour suicide watch and begins to enjoy the attention. She visits the cemetery to tell her all about how nice her colleagues are now. Dangle visits her at home to keep an eye on her. Trudy responds by appearing in a nightie.
Williams and Garcia are on undercover assignment at a wedding, trying to catch out parolee Jimmy 'The Fist' Fitzsimmons. The deputies enjoy the free hospitality a little too much, get drunk and head out to the dance-floor. After ending up in a hot-tub together, they completely forget the assignment and end up kissing.
Junior's attempts to train a drug-sniffing dog don't quite work out the way he wants - as he mixes hamburger meat with dope and gets the dog completely stoned and unable to function. Trudy is dragged along on a burglary call, but annoys his colleagues by constantly talking during the investigation. She's eventually overjoyed when she spots the suspect and shoots him.
Trudy eventually confesses to her colleagues that the whole suicide thing was a mistake. They're not happy with this revelation, which upsets Wiegel to the point where she threatens to kill herself for real. She leaves to throw herself in the river - but nobody moves to help her.
