When we left the Reno 911! gang, they had all been shot by a startled Trudy during a Halloween stunt. That turns out to be a bad dream dreamt by Kenny Rogers, which in turn is a bad dream had b y Garcia. And hey, we're back where we started. During the morning briefing, Jones tells his delighted colleagues that he had tickets for Friday's sold out basketball game. Unfortunately, Dangle arrives and tells then he's been promoted up to Carson City and his leaving dinner is Friday. And attendance is mandatory.
Jones and Garcia visit a trailer park where a naked man is tresspassing. They chase him until he tricks them into a blind alley, where a whole bunch of naked people turn the tables on the cops. Dangle visits Trudy to say goodbye and attempts to be romantic. Unfortunately he interrupts Wiegel and an eldewrly Chinese gentleman. Dangle leaves annoyed and discovers his bike has been stolen yet again. He finds his missing bike for sale on the internet and then gets into a gun battle with the suspect selling it - only to find out it's Junior
Jones and Garcia visit an man who is incredibly upset as his dog is sick and he can't afford to have it put down. Garcia agrees to shoot it, only to find the dog actually belongs to the man's neighbour and has annoying him. The cops run away. Then the whole force visit a fire and encourage a man trapped on the second floor to jump onto a trampoline. He does so and flies over the cop cars and into the street.
At Dangle's dinner, everyone is too caught up with the basketball game to hear his speech or pay him any attention. Jones hasn't even shown up, they spot him on the television at the game. Only Clemmie seems to care, but then reveals she's after some money that Dangle owes her. At the next morning briefing, while the Deputies wait to see who their new superior is, Dangle arrives. He mis-read the promotion letter and isn't leaving Reno after all.
