Ex-con turned preacher, the Reverend LeCarp, wants to broadcast his spiritual television show, the Half Hour of Power from the station. It was while he was in the station's cells that he first found God and now he wants to spread the word. Unfortunately, the cells are empty, so the officers are forced to round up some convicts. Clemmie and Trudy find a hooker who can cry 'Hallelujah!' convincingly, so she's brought in.

Garcia doesn't seem to pleased to see the rev, and he reveals how LeCarp was on PCP when he was there 10 years ago and the officers at the time were forced to knock his teeth out. At a line-up, the deputies make their criminals sing a few bars of Amazing Grace, the two best singers are held under arrest.

Everyone is excited about the reverend's show - apart from Garcia. LeCarp decides to try and 'save' Garcia, but then turns nasty when he remembers the beating that the cops gave him 10 years earlier. LeCarp goes berserk, locks the cops in a cell and starts to swear at them. He leaves - and as it's a long weekend no one will save them until Monday. And Trudy has to poop.
