Samantha Who?:

Howard Newly, Samantha's father, is a hard-working chicken farmer. He has strong beliefs in the good treatment and welfare of his egg releasing brethren, so is pretty much easy-going about everything else.

Not much for words (except when it comes to chickens), Howard tends to sit back and let his wife Regina run things around the house. Your typical man's man, Howard enjoys hunting, football and avoiding emotional intimacy. He dislikes vegans and people who drive foreign cars. Howard is also a big prankster, although, much to his dismay, the joke's often on him.

During Samantha's bad phase, Howard had drifted away from his daughter and the two hadn't really spoken for years - so now that her memory's been wiped, Howie can get his little girl back.
