Sam's memory loss can have some drastic consequences, as she forgets that you don't put tins of soup in the microwave, and almost destroys Todd's apartment in the process. Meanwhile Andrea wants to get the details of a hot guy that the two of them met before the accident. Sam points out that she's lost her memory and Andrea decides to take action.

She convinces Sam to make an appointment with a hypnotherapist in an effort to regain her lost memories, and that guys lost digits. But her revelations lead her to conclude that Regina and Howard may not be her real parents and also certain aspects of a hit broadway musical. Meanwhile, Todd makes a shocking confession to Sam.
