Sam is sent flowers by her recent date Kevin. After speaking to Andrea, Dena and Regina, she goes out with him again. But in her post-coma state, Sam irrationally believes she's completely in love with him and moves all of her belongings from her old apartment and into his.

Freaked out, Kevin breaks up with her and Sam, even though she knows she is a former alcoholic, goes off and drowns her sorrows. She diverts her drunken attentions back to Todd, but is saved and chided by Frank the doorman who tries to explain to her the true nature of love.
