JD’s worst nightmare comes true when Dr Cox’s suspension puts his future at Sacred Heart in jeopardy and JD can’t imagine the hospital without his mentor around.

However, before he can brood too much Kelso assigns him the task of looking after one of the board members whose family built the hospital with their bare hands. To JD’s amazement the board member turns out to be a smoking-hot beauty, and despite the fact she’s a royal pain in the arse he ends up sleeping with her.

Meanwhile, Turk discovers sleeping with women can get you into a lot of trouble, particularly when Carla’s mum realises they’re not engaged and sharing a bed in her house!

Strangely sex is the key to JD’s dilemma. Realising the only way to end Dr Cox’s suspension is to get a board member to cancel it, he pulls a favour from the one he slept with, Jordan. She happens to be Perry’s ex-wife and would rather see him rotting in the hospital than somewhere else, and keeps him on, meaning everybody’s happy!

Apart from Kelso of course, and Carla’s mum, oh and Elliot’s therapist who has been stuck with her all week, and probably not Dr Cox when he discovers who has been sleeping with his ex-wife.
