After Elliot gets word from one of the nurses that some medicines are missing she goes to JD and Alex as she suspects one of their patients, Mr Barnes a former drug addict. A flame war starts between them and JD needs to choose which side he’s on. Sticking with Turk’s ‘booty’ formula he stands by Alex, but blurts out to Elliot she’s only jealous of them because she’s missed her chance with him.
Elsewhere, after Dr Kelso gives Carla a lift to hospital, she starts to think Kelso isn’t actually that bad. The good times last until Kelso yells at her over some shoddy paperwork, and after drenching her in a puddle her eyes finally open to the fact he doesn’t really worry about other people’s feelings.
At Carla’s request Turk makes a stab at getting to know Dr Cox, and soon becomes his little pee buddy, as the men’s rest room seems to be only place in hospital where they meet. Even though Turk tries for all one is worth to get ‘kissy-faced’ with Cox, the problem is they can’t be best friends while they are both in love with the same woman!
Eventually JD discovers the person who stole the medicine is actually Alex his girlfriend, and having found her out he goes to Elliot to apologise. But whilst Elliot was right about Alex, JD was right about Elliot and the only way to tame the green-eyed monster is with a little bed action – hot diggity!
