It’s not easy when you break up with a co-worker, even though JD and Elliot try to avoid each other they find the hospital is a very small place to work, and JD’s problems increase with the news of the death of Mr. Peters, his favorite schoolteacher who helped him to go into medicine.
Elsewhere, Dr Cox is having anger management issues after the tox screen he was waiting for goes missing, causing him to go ballistic and destroy an entire lab. Marching to JD’s house in the middle of the night, he forces him to go to the pub to drown his sorrows in booze. To JD’s amazement, Cox comes to work the following day as happy as a box of birds explaining it was simply his way of dealing with his emotions. He also advises JD to buy some non-bunching pajamas…
Meanwhile Turk picks Elliot to co-write a project with him, but he doesn’t seem to be taking it seriously; he would rather watch a movie and have a beer, or go for a date with Carla in his special money boxers. Thinking she’s just his Doctor Geek, Elliot ditches the project but the main reason Turk asked her to work with him was to force Elliot and JD to talk to each other again.
Life is hard enough and there’s no way you can survive in a dump like Sacred Heart unless you find a way to expressing your emotions, so Elliot makes up with JD and because she looks so darn hot eating eggs, JD makes up with Elliot.
