After months of doing everyone else’s scut work, Elliot, JD and Turk are finally not the lowest people on Sacred Heart’s totem pole; they’ve earned the right to feel cooler, even to be a little cocky, and finally get their very own med students.
JD wants someone he can be friends with but he gets Josh, who makes a lot of mistakes, and who drives JD mad. Losing his patience with him, JD tells Josh he doesn’t think he has what it takes to be a doctor and he decides to quit. Having been scolded by Carla, JD confides to Josh he had the same problems when he started, except he had a great ass. Eventually in a surprisingly similar way to Dr Cox, JD instructs Thumper to put on some gloves and scrubs, and get the hell to work!
Elliot’s been waiting for the day for someone else to suffer like she used to, but unfortunately she gets Phillip who not only won’t do her dirty work, his father happens to work for the company that owns the hospital. Frustrated she can’t bully him, and tormented by her PMS, she ends up doing everything, until Dr Kelso steps in and lets Elliot be the ball-buster she always wanted to be.
Turk’s convinced he will get someone black, but instead he gets Kristen, a sassy brunette who is as sarcastic as Dr Cox. Handily enough, sarcasm and caustic put-downs give Perry the hots, and sarcastic Doctors are very much Kirsten’s thing. One thing soon leads to another and after a quick view of Perry’s booty the two end up swapping spit back at Dr Cox’s apartment!
