Dr. Cox and Julie Keaton finally give in to temptation and sleep together. The result of their coupling puts Dr. Cox in an unusually cheerful mood. His joy is slightly diminished when he realises that she has slept with almost every other doctor in the hospital. Later, while the two of them are watching a movie at his apartment, he apologizes to Julie for being a little jealous about her other relationships. Suddenly, just as they are about to kiss, Jordan and her very pregnant belly enter the apartment.
Sparks fly as the two women try to outmaneuver each other. While Julie retreats to the bedroom, Jordan tells Perry that the father is a busboy, poolboy or something ‘boy’ that she met while vacationing in Greece. She also tells him that she is keeping the baby and that she wants Perry back as well.
At the hospital, Julie and Jordan try to ‘out-sexy’ each other in front of Dr. Cox, with Julie being much sexier than the big-bellied Jordan. Jordan ends up getting sick, so she and Dr. Cox have a heart-to-heart on the bathroom floor. He tells her definitively that he’s not interested in her anymore. But after meeting with Julie and explaining to her the bond that he and Jordan have, he decides that he really does love Jordan.
In desperate need of extra cash and tired of stealing toilet paper and pudding and fruit cups from the hospital, Turk has been moonlighting at the free clinic. He recruits JD to work there as well. JD later finds out that Turk is pocketing $100 of his payment for working there so he tries to get revenge. But when Carla tells JD that Turk is working overtime so that they can get enough money to put her mother in a nursing home, he realises that Turk wasn’t just being greedy and that his relationship with Carla has become more serious. He gives Turk the $100.
Elliot is recruited by the female doctors in OB/GYN to join their specialty. When her father pays a visit to the hospital, he strongly suggests that this is the specialty for her but the last thing she wants to do is look at women’s private parts all day. It doesn’t help that Dr. Kelso made a bet that Elliot would go for OB/GYN. He almost wins the $10 bet, but Carla steps in to say that Elliot hasn’t officially declared her specialty yet, so technically he didn’t win. Elliot meets with her father to tell her that she isn’t ready to declare a specialty yet. He responds by cutting her off financially. Since she can no longer afford her apartment, she has to move out.
