A patient sets JD up with her grand niece, Julie who is pretty but really clumsy. Elliot tries to coach JD about the relationship – but soon he’s falling into bad habits and agrees to buy a half-acre block with his recent blind date.
The Janitor and Ted are forming an ‘air band’, The Cool Cats, and are holding auditions for the lead singer. Turk impresses them with his dance moves and he becomes the fourth member of the band.
Dr Cox’s patient is a Jehovah witness, so she refuses transfusion surgery as it goes against her religion and beliefs. Dr Cox then refuses to do a different type of procedure and has Carla bothering him about doing the right thing. Also Jordan is desperate for him to show their son Jack some affection.
Kelso wants Turks to speak at a critical care conference, but when he answers back unprofessionally Dr Kelso makes the choice of banning air bands in the hospital. This means the Cool Cat’s have no place to practice.
