Scrubs:

Elliot has a patient who seems to be in chronic agony and scores seven on the pain chart but she can’t find any medical reason for why this is.

JD and Cox fight over a patient; to settle the score they ask the patient who she wants to treat her, she chooses JD. When it comes to talking to the patient about the illness that will eventually shutdown her organs he wrongly thinks she wants to die and doesn’t want to have an invasive operation, this leads to him losing his patient to Dr Cox.

Meanwhile Carla is on the case of the annual staff picture, which in the past has never gone smoothly. With the help of Laverne’s tambourine Carla eventually gets everyone together but the picture taking goes wrong when janitor gets in the way.

Elliot’s chronic pain patient is discharged, to his wife’s dislike but even after Turk checks for symptoms nothing is found, Turk and Elliot try to keep him in hospital.
