Hallelujah! Laverne’s church choir helps get Dr Cox’s point across to JD about life not being fair after JD has been called into work on his day off, when all he wants to do is to go home and listen to Toto’s Africa. There is a new line system at the hospital and all JD has to do is follow the yellow line to get to the exit.
Jordan’s heating system is broken so Carla has to looks after Jack while she sorts out her room but after Jordan gets stuck and her silicon lips start to melt, Carla starts to question her mothering skills and it’s up to Dr Cox to tell her she has the courage to become a mother.
There is going to be the first in-house heart transplant and Dr Kelso has to pick one of the surgeons to perform the operation. As a heart donor is still needed and the patient, Mr. Bolger, is brain dead he guarantees the place to the surgeon who can make his family give up his heart. Turks efforts fail at first but then he manages a breakthrough.
Dr Cox is angered by Elliot’s ability to know information off the top of her head and is convinced she’s cheating in some way, so he makes her perform a speech to put her to the test. Elliot is scared she hasn’t got the brains to pull the speech off so asks for JD for his help; will JD ever be able to go home?
