Dr. Kelso may have left his job - but he hasn't left the hospital, taking up residence in the hospital coffee shop and keeping an eye on developments. Both JD and Elliot try to get the ex-doctor to widen his horizons, bring the two of them closer together in the process. JD is still being tormented by The Janitor, while trying to help his designated interns. JD and Turk continue their 'bro-mantic' relationship. And Dr. Cox clashes and grows envious of the new Chief of Medicine for Sacred Heart, Dr. Taylor Maddox.
