The Sex Education Show vs... Pornography

The Sex Education Show

Anna Richardson in front of sex shop

The Sex Education Show, presenter Anna Richardson and a team of sexual health experts travel to schools across the UK talking to students about sex and their views on internet porn. They spoke to literally hundreds of teenagers across the country and a worrying 76% of them said they want more sex education. Yet earlier this year a government bill that was going to make sex education compulsory in all schools for the very first time was dropped. However, the need for sex education has never been greater, we still have the highest rate of teenage pregnancies in Western Europe, and teenage STI rates have rocketed by 58% in the last 5 years!

The Sex Education Show to gives the teenagers of Great Britain the sex education lessons they desperately need. Anna and sexual health specialist Dr Radha Modghil travel to schools across the country giving much needed lessons in sex, sexuality and relationships.

Britain is in a state of sexual meltdown and the most at risk are teenagers. STIs are increasing at an epidemic rate; 21 teenagers get pregnant every day but most alarmingly up to two thirds of teens are receiving potentially harmful information and impressions about sex via the accessibility, quantity and graphic nature of internet pornography.

The students were surprised that the man in the line up was gay, and said they thought he looked like a family man, married with kids. Gay and lesbian people can be married and have kids too! Different types of families...! This should be challenged!

I watched the first series and noticed that there was much more male nudity than female. Perhaps a reflection on what the female presenters wanted to see rather than a genuine attempt at educating children.

I'm 82 years old now and wish that there had been programmes like this when I was in my teens. I joined the Merchant Navy when I was 17 years old not to the best environment for learning the facts of life after a strict Roma Catholic upbringing!

Also music is censored depending on the time it is aired. This show is very dishonest on this point. And the hole argument about it being online for all to see, this show is aswell so by its own twisted logic this show should not be on.
