  A rating is given for the whole series when it comes out on dvd at the end of the run,as for tv each episode will be looked at to decide if any content is unsuitable to air at the time it is alotted to be broadcast,each ep does not get a rating.

  Don't They Watch them to decide a rating i mean if warner bros entertainment said it has no swearing blood gore it should be shown at 9:00 am that would be a lie so they have to make sure and they do have a lot of WBTV shows im just so confused

  Also giving any of the seasons a viewer rating is not the reason for the delay, if that was the case how come season 8 was only six weeks behind ,because E4 got it cheap on account of three main characters leaving at the end of season 7 and that's it

  Steady on cowboy,the going rate is what E4 have to pay warner to show each season,for instance if E4 wanted to show it at the same time as the usa it will cost them the top rate,if they want to show it in january 2010 it wil cost them less and so on.
