Smallville :

Clark is shocked to discover that his neighbor Jed McNally is holding migrant laborers captive and forcing them to work on his farm. Javier, who has come to Kansas to search for his mother, manages to escape, but his friend get pulled into the ground during the attempt. McNally is arrested but escapes by burrowing into the ground.

Chloe and Jimmy locate Javier's mother. Lex has McNally imprisoned in the newly relocated 33.1. Feeling guilty since he sees himself as the ultimate illegal immigrant, Clark seeks help from Martha to allow a young boy and his mother to stay in the country.
