Smallville :

A suspicious Clark starts to suspect that Davis is alive. Chloe tries to convince him it would be best for them both to get out of town when the Metropolis police issue a manhunt for Davis, whom they believe to be a local serial killer. When Clark tells Chloe that Davis can be sent to the Phantom Zone using crystals from the Fortress of Solitude, Chloe lies and tells him that Davis was in Alaska.

Clark discovers Davis attempting to kill Oliver. He intervenes and takes Davis to the Fortress of Solitude and uses the crystal to open the Phantom Zone. Chloe arrives and removes the crystal, believing Clark should not forske Davis so easily and convinced he can be helped. Chloe takes Davis and they decide to leave the Fortress and Smallville, vanishing so that Clark and Oliver can not track them.
