Smallville :

After leaving their engagement party, Chloe and Jimmy are abducted by a psychotic jeweler. Once emotionally scarred by his wife's infidelity, the jeweler now kidnaps couples and subjects them to a kryptonite-enhanced lie detector that will shock them if they lie. Chloe is asked if she is in love with anyone else.

Meanwhile, in an effort to find Chloe and Jimmy, Clark and Lois pose as a couple in order to lure the crazed kidnapper out of hiding. Chloe and Jimmy smanage to answer the questions to the jeweler's satisfaction and they are set free; but Lois is then kidnapped. Clark tries to help her, but a kryptonite bracelet the jeweler wears weakens his efforts. While being questioned, Lois admits that she is in love with Clark. But before Clark can answer, he manages to strip the bracelet from the jeweler and then knock him out. Lois tries to explain her 'love' for Clark as nothing more than a lie, which she was able to accomplish by slipping the lie-detector electrode off her finger.
