Tess tells Davis that he crash landed to Earth during the Smallville meteor shower, alongside another boy and that he is destined to fight Clark and that Clark cannot accept his destiny until he is killed by him. Tess tries to kill Davis by blowing up his truck. However, after he escapes, she realises she needs help to destroy him and turns to Clark.
Tess reveals Davis' secret childhood with the Luthors and hints that she knows Clark's true identity and his destiny to kill Davis - but Clark is suspicious. Meanwhile, after remembering some elements of his childhood, Davis runs to Chloe for help. She convinces her to douse him in Kryptonite, but he survives and becomes stronger than ever.
