Smallville :

Tess and her team perform tests on Clark's crystal which helped create the Fortress of Solitude that she retrieved from the Arctic, causing it to send a beam of light into the universe. This triggers the arrival of Maxima, a queen from the planet Almerac, who is searching for her soul mate and recognises the energy beam as Kryptonian, believing this is who sent the signal. Unfortunately, Maxima's power is too great for mortal men and her kiss kills them. As the seductive Maxima arrives in Metropolis, she begins her search, starting with Jimmy believing he was the one that sent the signal.

Clark tries to help the hapless Jimmy. Maxima realises that Clark is the Kryptonian she has been looking for and she uses her hormone-enhanced kiss to take control over him. When Lois witnesses the pair kissing, Maxima assumes she is a rival mate and attempts to kill her. Clark stops Maxima and uses her bracelet to send her back to Almerac; he also learns that Tess has his crystal.
