Unstrum Hero:
Have you got the Axe Factor?
About
What's this Air Guitar challenge about then?
There's no point pretending. In Air Guitar, you can’t fake it: every performance is a live, one in a million, once in a lifetime, heat of the moment, act of desperately heart-felt self-expression. Or sometimes its just a way to get-off. Either way I believe in Air Guitar: it feels good. You should try it.
Huh?
Let me explain: since the year 2000 the
World Championships have taken off in a colossal way. With over 20 nations in the AGWC network, playing with themselves and battling for the title; the competition gets tougher every year. And this year we need to send a real behemoth to bring back that title: we want YOU.
What can I do?
At
Air Guitar UK we've been working tirelessly and thanklessly to feed the engine of talent that drives this nation. We need to find a hero to be the best in the world, and this year we’re taking it online with E4. Welcome to Unstrum Hero.
Am I Unstrum Hero material?
You’ll need to be totally completely and absolutely into the music. You’ll need to blow the dam on those pent-up emotions and focus that un-bridled deluge of passion with the sluice gates of technical perfection. And you'll need to be exceptional in every way.
Face your fears, face the music, and face the facts: you’re probably not as good as you think. You’re probably rubbish. But if you’re not, if we select you, and if you can find us: you'll be straight into the UK finals at the Academy in Islington, and you may just be that champion we’ve been looking for. It gets a bit weird but you can cope, come on what are you waiting for - a medal? Well this prize is even better...
