  His power is that he is a werewolf, this explains why he hasn't got his power yet due to the moon. If u watch his shadow in the opening sequence it is a wolf's shadow howling a the moon

  being able to turn a lie into the truth is a power that would bring waaaaay too many plotholes. pretty much anything he willed would happen. doesnt suit him.

  He's not a werewolf, when he lies the things come true. And the reason there is a wolf at the start for him is because he is the boy who cries wolf.
