The Titans of the internet do stupid stuff for usTay Zonday
Proving that you don't need a record label or a fancy video to get worldwide fame, the voice of singer songwriter Tay Zonday would leave Darth Vader quaking in his boots and has brought him global fame. His debut, Chocolate Rain, is one of the most watched videos on YouTube. Naturally, we wanted to meet the man.
We were talking with Tay back in December, trying to work out the best way to film him, what with him living in the US an' all. Then BBC Three kindly flew him to London to appear on The Lily Allen Show. Not many people bothered to watch that (they were probably all watching Skins), but luckily your license fee wasn't put to waste – we nabbed him before he flew home for an interview and a sketch, exclusive for e4.com.

His songs are like babies. He gets contractions, gives birth to them, then leaves 'em on people's doorsteps. Anyone who uses a metaphor like that must be a genius.
